Brief Profile

Stabilizer bar hook type shot peening machine is an advanced version of our spinner hanger shot peening machine. Fully enhanced and strengthened structure and systems make it competent in heavy blasting work to have not only working piece surface cleaning, but also strengthening. It works in the way that two hooks load and convey work pieces into blasting chamber alternately for blasting cleaning for large, heavy work pieces that can/must not be tumbled over each other during the blastingprocess, and it can easily handle the most complex work piece shapes and extremely heavy components with max. weight of 2000KG or even higher.

CNC-machined blasting wheel, 37KW of working power, guarantees its powerful blasting capability on different kinds of work pieces to enhance the pressure stress of surface and extend lifespan. The raw work pieces can either be loaded as a large single component for processing or hung on specific hanger.

Features

Strengthened & upgraded structure & system


The whole structure and all working systems of this machine is fully enhanced and strengthened to make it competent in heavy blasting work to have not only working piece surface cleaning, but also strengthening.

Blasting machine body: 10mm thickness Manganese 13 steel plates welled welded and Manganese 13 steel protective boards, offering excellent wear resistance.


Blasting sealing


A unique special multi-layer sealing system is developed and installed to prevent blast materials spillage and reduce the noise level around the machine. It combines with brush seals and rubber segments to make the machine sealing effect excellently  when the hooks and cross bar are adapted to the sealing system and it prevents accidents of shot spillage.


Compact & customizable machine size


Ultimately compact and smart design and small floor space occupation.

Available in more design configurations and capacity sizes for low or high production parts requirements. Size, number and power of blasting wheel can vary considerably depending on the parts to be blasted as well as on the expected result and efficiency.


High efficiency & accurate blasting effect

Double-hanger, double-tracks, double-electric hoists to conveying work pieces, can realize

continuous shot blasting operation and achieve high production efficiency.

The carrying hooks rotate and stop automatically at three different points in the blast cabinet, which means that even highly complex work pieces with hard-to-reach surfaces, can be safely and accurately treated.


Programmable Logic Controller


Much shorter time of parameter configuration, much less working hours of operator and high efficiency because all process parameters of work pieces blasting can be configured and saved in PLC control unit without unnecessary repeat input & repeat pressing different buttons.

Smart communication with built-in 3D guiding technology UI and 10 Inch colorful touch screen for safe operation, easy maintenance.


Environment protection


We adopt high-end methods to reduce noise to 85DB and dust emission concentration to less than 50mg/m3 (these results can be even better with higher standard of configurations).


Range of applications


The stabilizer bar hook shot peening machines are highly flexible systems that is specially designed for heavy blasting work (cleaning & strengthening) of automotive stabilizer bar, gears, and large springs and so on.

Main Parts

Blasting chamber 


a.The basting chamber consists 10mm thickness Manganese 13 steel plates well welded and Manganese 13 steel protective boards, offering excellent wear resistance. And at the blasted area that directly exposed to blasting shots stream of the chamber body, a line of thick Mn 13 steel protective boards are installed to protect the chamber. These protective boards are not bolted on but hung with a special way and easy to assemble and replace.

b.A unique special multi-layer sealing system is developed and installed with brush seals and rubber segments to make the machine sealing effect excellently when the hooks and cross bar are adapted to the sealing system and it prevents accidents of shot spillage.

This chamber has automatically open and shut double doors, supported and driven by 4pcs hydraulic cylinders.


Screw conveyor system


a.One screw conveyor is positioned at the bottom of the blasting chamber and driven by the gear motor of the bucket elevator and it consists of screw axle, blades soldered on the screw axle and screw heads at both sides. During working, the screw conveyor transits the shots to the bottom of the bucket elevator and the shots are lifted by the buckets to the upper part of the elevator and put into the shot separator. 

b.Another screw conveyor system is installed at the top side of the bucket elevator to both push shots to the shots separator and separating partial dust and small broken shots through the roller filter.


Bucket elevator system


a.The dismountable elevator is built with steel plates by accurate soldering technique, 2 high-quality wheel hubs, 1 elevator body, 1 durable belt and several alloy buckets with the maximum transfer amount of 180KG/Min

b.It is driven by 1 gear motor at the top to lifts the shots recycled by the screw conveyor onto the separator and storage cabinet. 

A window is designed for easy maintenance and examination.


Separator system


a.The air-flow separator is used to separate good shots and broken shots and dust. It is built and soldered with steel plates and different chambers inside to lead the air flow and multi-level steel plates to adjust and balance the sliding shots flow amount. 

Shots & dust mixture is transported from the screw conveyor and go downward on a sliding steel board and get into the way of the air flow. Good shots are heavy and not driven to move  by the air flow but broken shots are much lighter to be lead to the other slide board that connected with a broken shot collector/bucket. Dust directly flows in the air flow direction and is taken to the air outlet to be dealt with by the dust collector.


Semi-automatic flow valve


a.Fully sealed semi-automatic flow valves are equipped with lockable examination window & 2

bearings to control the flow amount of the shots into the blast wheels. 

At the upper part of each flow valve, a manual stop valve is installed to stop the shots flow under the circumstance of examination or maintenance.


Casting & CNC machined blast wheel system


a.Mayflay specially-designed casting& CNC machined blast wheels, combination of our own 

industrial advantages and features, ensure excellent performance of dynamic balance and perfect shots output efficiency and great convenience for maintenance. It is combined with a highly hard-wearing impeller, 8pcs extremely hard and durable plug-pull type blades, a control cage and a shot distributor to control the blasting direction and pre-accelerate. 

b.Mayflay P series power system is used in this blast wheel: specially-designed and manufactured ABB motor, die steel CNC machined + low-pressure & vacuum heat treatment vulnerable parts inside. These special vulnerable parts have 58-62HRC surface hardness that is extremely durable and has super long lifespan. The most outstanding feature is the no-load current is only 6 Amps.

Variable frequency speed control technology to control and adjust the power of the blasting.

Y-type double hooks transmission system


a.1 set Y-type rail system, 2 pcs work stations with 2 hangers that is welded into one piece with heat treatment durable steel (customizable).

The Y-track transport system is fully automatic and installed with 2 drive motors

Dedusting System


a.It includes cyclone separator and the cartridge filter. the cyclone separator separates most of heavy dust and the cartridge filter blocks and filters the escaped air & dust mixture. 

b.Electromagnetic pulse technology is applied in the cartridge filter to shock and separate the dust from the filter. Dust goes down to the collect storage cabinet due to its gravity. Silencer and secondary filter ensure that noise emission is lower than 85DB and dust emission is lower than 50mg/m³

Wet dust collector, a high performance dedusting system with Venturi theory, especially for flammable and explosive media, automatically recycle dust.
