During the sandblasting process, we not only pay attention to the working status of the sand blasting machine, but also pay attention to the air compressor. For example, sometimes the piston of the air compressor is stuck or bitten. What is causing this?
First, the gap between the cylinder and the piston of the air compressor used for sand blasting equipment is too small or metal fragments and other hard objects fall into the cylinder. Adjust the assembly gap or remove the metal fragments and other hard objects from the cylinder.
Second, the crankshaft connecting rod mechanism of the air compressor used in the sand blasting equipment is skewed, causing abnormal friction of individual pistons, causing overheating and biting. The concentricity of the crankshaft connecting rod mechanism should be adjusted.
Third, the air compressor used in sand blasting equipment has poor oil quality or supply interruption to the compressor with oil lubrication, which increases the friction of the piston in the cylinder and becomes stuck. Choose appropriate lubricants and pay attention to the supply of lubricants.
Finally, the air compressor used for sand blasting equipment has insufficient cooling water supply or strong cooling after the cylinder is overheated, causing the cylinder to shrink sharply.
