Common failures of shot blasting machines

In the daily use of the shot blasting machine, due to the harsh operating environment, long-term floating dust, a large number of workpieces accumulated on the work site and carelessness of the operator, various mechanical failures will occur inevitably.

The following are the common failures of the shot blasting machine.

First, inadequate lubrication and daily maintenance in strict accordance with the instruction manual. Then, causes serious damage to the bearings of various moving parts and causes a part to fail to operate normally.

Second,Due to the accumulation of a large number of workpieces and the chaotic work site, the equipment and distribution box leakage caused by the damage of the cable exposed on the ground and the edge of the equipment, and even the motor is burnt due to the loss of phase due to the loss of the cable connector or a broken part.

Third, failed to conduct frequent visual inspections to check the wear condition of the wear parts and the chamber body or the shot blaster cover was pierced due to not timely replacement.

Four. failure to discover the wear of the blades or to replace the blades in time will cause severe vibrations during the operation of the shot blaster and damage the motor, or the bolt connecting the shot blasting device will be broken.

Next, when adding steel shots, the elevator and screw conveyor are not turned on, or the elevator and screw conveyor are not kept running for a certain period of time when the machine is stopped. As a result, a large number of steel shots are accumulated on the screw shaft and the hoist, which makes the hoist or the screw shaft overload and cannot work normally.

Then, when the hook of the hook type shot blasting machine descends to the ground, the wire rope is scattered because of the excessive landing, which damages the electric hoist rope arrangement and the wire rope is buckled in disorder.

At last,a large amount of dust floats on the distribution box or enters into the distribution box and causes the operation buttons and contactors to fail or fail. Too much dust or debris causes the contactor to act improperly and causes phase loss , then burn out the motor.
