　　Surface processing quality refers to the mechanical processing quality, including macroscopic geometry, surface roughness and tool mark direction.

　　Macro geometry refers to the deviation of the actual shape from the ideal shape after processing, that is, the processing accuracy, such as roundness, cylindricity, parallelism and perpendicularity. The deviation of the macroscopic geometry makes the load distribution on the surface of the part uneven, which is likely to cause serious local wear.

　　The surface roughness has an influence on wear. It is not that the smaller the surface roughness value, the smaller the wear. Under each load, there is a reasonable surface roughness to make the wear amount small.

　　Under the same load, usually the smaller the surface roughness value, the smaller the wear, but the wear will increase after exceeding the reasonable value gradually. Because the surface is too smooth, the contact surface is enlarged, and the intermolecular attraction is enhanced, so the possibility of adhesive wear increases.

　　The direction of the knife mark has a greater influence on wear. If the direction of the knife marks on the two friction surfaces is parallel and consistent with the direction of movement, the wear is small. If the direction of the knife marks on the two friction surfaces is parallel but perpendicular to the direction of movement, the wear will be greater.If the direction of the tool mark crosses the direction of movement, the wear is moderate.
